The Lyceum Campus Radio, founded in July 2002 serves as the training ground for Mass Communication Students as well as to cater facilities and equipments of the center in school wide activities. The Campus radio aims to help students widen their knowledge in the field of broadcast and enhance their writing skills for the creation of news and programming schedule.

The Lyceum Campus Radio was named after its President Mr. Peter P. Laurel (DWPL Fm 103.7 Lyceum Campus Radio).

The Campus Radio is only open for Communication students who aspires to becoming disk jock or even render service to the station and the College of Arts Sciences and Education. The Campus Radio is under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts and Science (Dr. Ronilo M. Jayag) and it’s Department Chairman for Mass Communication (Ms. Maria Theresa V. Javier).

The Campus Radio is now under the supervision of Ms. Romana Celeste A. Mauhay who also serves as the Communication Center Coordinator for the Department of Mass Communication.

The Lyceum Campus Radio Objectives:

To boost the confidence of the students in the field of radio broadcasting.

To enhance students talents and capabilities in radio programming.

To be competitive in the field of radio broadcasting.

To serve as training ground for Mass Communication students.

To practice journalism skills as to writing news for Campus Updates.

The Lyceum Campus Radio remains committed in bringing a wider array of song collection as prescribed in the programming schedules made possible under the Radio Managers’ supervision.
